We process personal data in accordance with the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and, where applicable, the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Processing in connection with the contact form
When you write to us via the contact form, we process the data you provide (name, institution or company, contact details and your request) in order to respond to your enquiry and submit an offer to you. The processing is carried out for the initiation or performance of a contractual relationship and on the basis of your consent.
Server log files
When you access our website, data transmitted by your browser (including IP address, date and time of access, pages accessed, browser used) is automatically processed for technical reasons. This data serves the secure and stable operation of the website and is not combined with other data sources.
Hosting (Cloudflare)
Our website is operated on the infrastructure of Cloudflare, Inc. As part of this, data may also be processed on servers outside Switzerland. An adequate level of data protection is ensured through appropriate safeguards (including standard contractual clauses).
Automated estimate for your request (AI)
In the booking assistant you can describe your request in your own words. To produce an effort and price estimate from it, this text is transmitted to Anthropic PBC (USA) and processed there. Only the text you enter is transmitted, no contact details. It is not used to train models. Please do not enter sensitive personal data in this field; you are welcome to call us instead.
Email delivery (Resend)
We use the service Resend to send replies and notifications. In doing so, the data required for delivery (email address, content) is processed by the provider as a data processor.
Quotations and order processing (bexio)
For preparing quotations and processing orders we use the software bexio (bexio AG, St. Gallen, Switzerland). The data required for this (name, address, contact details, order details) is processed there as a data processor, in Switzerland.
Address completion (geo.admin.ch)
In the booking form you can use address suggestions for the ‘Street and no.’ field. The text you type is sent to the Swiss federal search and mapping service (geo.admin.ch / swisstopo), which returns matching Swiss addresses. No cookies are set; use is optional — you can also enter the address by hand.
Reach measurement (Cloudflare Web Analytics)
To measure visitor numbers anonymously we may use Cloudflare Web Analytics. This service works without cookies and without recognising individuals; no profiles are created and no data is combined across websites.
Statistics with Google Analytics (only with your consent)
If you choose “Accept all” in the cookie notice, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) to understand, in anonymised form, how our site is used. Analytics cookies are only set at that point. Your IP address is truncated (anonymised). Data may be transmitted to Google servers in the USA, safeguarded by appropriate guarantees (standard contractual clauses). If you choose “Accept all”, we additionally use Google Ads (Google Ireland Ltd.) to measure the effectiveness of our ads (conversion measurement) and to show you our ads again (remarketing); cookies may be set and data may be transmitted to Google. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting this site's data in your browser. If you choose “Only necessary”, no analysis with Google takes place.
Origin of enquiries
If you reach us via an advertisement, we store the origin of the enquiry (for example the campaign identifier in the address) in your browser's temporary storage (session storage, not a cookie) and transmit it with your enquiry, solely to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. This storage is cleared when the browser tab is closed.
Cookies
Operating the website requires no cookies. We only set analytics and marketing cookies (Google Analytics and Google Ads) if you choose “Accept all” in the cookie notice. Your choice is stored locally in your browser so the notice does not reappear on every visit.
Disclosure to third parties
Your data is only disclosed to the data processors named for the provision of services (hosting, email delivery, quotations and order processing, reach measurement) or where we are legally obliged to do so. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as is necessary for the stated purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations. The data is then deleted or anonymised.
Data security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Transmission is encrypted via HTTPS.
Your rights
Within the scope of the applicable legislation, you have in particular the following rights:
- access to the data processed about you
- rectification of inaccurate data
- erasure or restriction of processing
- withdrawal of a consent you have given
- release or transfer of your data
